An unprecedented series of events has been taking place in support of Magazine Week (29 September-5 October), PPA's campaign to raise the profile of the magazine category and encourage consumers to indulge their passion by buying more magazines.

Beth Ditto has been voted the UK's favourite magazine cover girl by the British public. In doing so, she beat half a dozen of the most popular cover girls in recent years, including Princess Diana, Kate Moss, Jordan, Beyonce and Abi Titumuss.
