Borders announces UK's first category-wide magazine promotion
5th Jun 2008Borders, the UK magazine, book and music retailer will offer a category-wide 'Buy One Get One Half Price' promotion
on all magazines from 29 September - 5 October to celebrate Magazine Week. There is a magazine for every interest,
hobby or pastime and this offer gives you a chance to indulge your passion by trying a magazine.
Borders will also be hosting a series of in-store events in all 41 UK stores, where members of the public can take
part in a range of magazine related-quizzes, practical workshops, children's story hours and more quirky events.
Max Lister, senior magazine buyer for Borders said: "Borders recognises the importance of magazines for its
customers, and by combining an unbeatable price offer with a week- long programme of events across the UK, we hope
to share our love of magazines with an even wider audience."
